I think I can confidently speak for all of us when I say we were all expecting a cat.
this is making each of these sound cooler than they are
I just saw someone say the words “jokingly gaslight” this might be a good time to reintroduce the internet to the terms “lying” or perhaps “pranking” or even just “joking” on it’s own
Okay, say it with me guys…
If you are giving someone wrong information in the hopes that they’ll believe that it’s true, then that’s lying.
If you are giving someone wrong information under the assumption that they’ll ultimately realise that it’s false, and that they will find this funny, then that’s joking.
If you are giving someone wrong information in the hopes that they’ll believe that it’s true and that their response will be funny, then that’s a prank.
If you are giving someone wrong information in the hopes that they will notice the differences between your presentation of reality and their perception of it, and come to doubt their ability to judge what is and is not real, then that’s gaslighting.
now dont leave this in the tags
If you are giving someone wrong information and you assume they will know it is wrong, in hopes that they will play along, then that’s a bit.
why does a post go around every two weeks or so where someone smugly larps as a high school mean girl
a lot of people are reblogging this and saying ‘this is aphobic’ and to be clear it obviously is and thats bad but i think that much like 'making fun of people’s crigne interests is bad because they may be autistic’, saying 'making fun of people who havent kissed anyone is bad because they might be ace’ is kind of missing the forest for the trees. like this is bad because it’s a fundamentally reactionary position basing itself in traditional expectations around gender roles and sexuality. its bad to make fun of people who Aren’t ace for not having kissed or being virgins or whatever too
- tan jiu seems to use dem for advertising, dey already adult here.
there’s just something inherently holy about a girl vibing alone in her room

funniest thing about the “reddit migration” is that I haven’t seen a single post shitting on anyone coming from Reddit. when twitter started bleeding users everyone was firing rent-lowering posts but with redditors skittering about we’ve left the doors open and put out food bowls
